Perfumers Alcohol Blended Base - for the production of Fragrances & Room Sprays

Our blended Perfumers base is a special formulation which can be used to produce perfumes, aftershaves, body sprays and room/fabric sprays. We have done all the hard work for you in producing this base, so all you need to do is simply add your choice of essential oils or fragrance oils to produce crystal clear, beautifully fragranced products. 

Guidelines for the making of perfumes etc:

The difference between different perfumes and colognes is simply the level of oils contained in each product. As a general rule, the concentrations we advise are given as:

eau de perfume (10-15%);

eau de toilette (4-8%);

cologne (3-5%);

cologne splash/body spray (1-3%),

room sprays (1-5%).

Example: If you wanted to make 100ml of eau de parfum, we would recommend you add 10mls of our fragrance oil and 90mls of Blended base.. Each fragrance oil will vary in strength and density, some you will need to add a few extra mls of oil, some less..

Steps to producing your own fragrances:

1. Measure your chosen oil within the guidelines above
2. Add your oil to the perfumer's blended base
3. Stir solution slowly and thoroughly until solution has cleared
4. Pour into your chosen bottle and allow the solution to rest for at least 48 hours to ensure he oils have fully blended.
